What an amazing experience it was painting on @andrewlloydwebber 's @starlightexpressldn at @troubadourwpark theatre!

I really enjoyed working from technical drawings to mark out the lines and chevrons throughout the stage (honestly, I love that stuff!) and many other things we got to paint that I didn't manage to get a photo of.

The show itself is freight-eningly good - highly recommended! The cast is amazing, and I’m in total awe of all the choo-rific talent so close to home! 😉

An overdue post about our absolutely incredible short little life in New Zealand where I had the fantastic experience of working at @hobbitontours! 😍

We met some truly beautiful people, saw epic mountains, waterfalls and forests, had so many unforgettable road trips, got sunburned and swam in a river on Christmas day, looked after 2 gorgeous dogs and even appeared as a Hobbit on NZ One News! 😂

The adventure of a lifetime with my best friend @martim.lou (who also took almost all of these amazing photographs!!) ❤️

This bench is great for sitting and admiring the view, you can extend one part to make an L shape, this is for more social settings/ card game nights or if you need more butt space to work in the kitchen!

There are two huge drawers underneath for storage and one drawer that pulls out to store the compost toilet!

This double bed is surprisingly comfy and quick and simple to change from a bed back to a bench. It also had poppers to hold the cushions in place

You can also see on the right hand side there is a shelf for books and everyday stuff (we used it for toiletries, pens/ pencils, cables and hard drives...)

So this is the kitchen! A lovely solid Ash worktop made by me and @doddsjamie out of a painting frame!

It's accessable from the inside and from the outside where you can stand or sit on two extendable comfy seats and cook while being sheltered by the tailgate back door.

There are 3 drawers and a storage space that is accessable from both sides and a 42L chest fridge, sauce storage and cool hanging spice jars!

🌟 So, I have just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia... 🌟

I believe that I first started having symptoms in 2013, so it's nothing new as I've felt like this for a while and definitely suspected fibromyalgia for a few years now - but boy oh boy is it a relief to finally be seen and get the answer!! It's not "all in my head" and I'm not just a lazy mofo!!!!! 🎉 😭

I was diagnosed privately in Portugal (I am so so lucky to have the Portuguese Superhero Man of Mystery, @martim_love , help me with everything!!!!) as in England my symptoms weren't taken seriously so I've always felt so stupid, lazy and anxious whenever seeing the doctor.. for example, after seeing a physiotherapist she glanced at me and said "there's no way you have fibromyalgia". As well as going to the GP (after waiting for a month or two) for depression and been given a leaflet about an online mental health chatroom... which ended up in online sexual harassment from my "therapist" 🤦 #traumatised 😅

While in Portugal I was taken for my word instantly without question, got blood tests and x-rays done the next day! In all took less than 2 weeks!
I know in England it would have either taken forever to just get one appointment or cost a small fortune to do it privately.

I am totally aware and understand the strain the NHS is under and the waiting times are a result of this - and I am super grateful we have it!!
But it doesn't need to be this complicated to get help.

In Portugal you are in charge of your health, and they take you seriously from the get go. Instead of waiting ages to not be believed or be told that you're just unfit or a bit sad right now. GPs are a judging/gatekeeping system that everything has to go through, when it would be 10 times faster to simply visit a specialist straightaway.

Oh my, sorry about the rant! 😬
I just wanted to share with you this update and give hope to anyone struggling with their physical or mental health.
I am always here to talk, sending everyone good vibes and warm hugs! 😘 💖
